It was pretty sunny today. The four day Easter break goes too fast. At least it is yet another 4 day week. Just noticed that my street cabinet has now been enabled for FTTC so have placed an order.

The order confirmation is showing a provision date of 10/4/13 so I could be getting 80 mb/s download and 20 mb/s upload speeds in just over a week. The BT checker originally said my cabinet would be enabled on 31/3/13 then it said 30/6/13, so I expect the latter date was a red herring as I have seen BT openreach staff regularly working on the cabinet over the last 2 months since it was installed. I think that a BT engineer has to visit to install the BT owned VDSL modem which will hopefully work with my Technicolor TG582n IPv6 router.
